The Alliance players on Greymane-US, where they outnumber the Horde anywhere from 2-to-1 or even 3-to-1, have developed a set of pre-game habits before a Wintergrasp battle begins that I think are worth sharing. I would doubt every server out there could pull these two techniques off because not only do they require some decent cooperation and coordination but it also requires a population of players with intense dedication to not only their mains at level 80 but their alts as well.
With 15 or 20 minutes to go before any Wintergrasp battle, during peak population times, the Alliance will launch attacks on a faction leader. Typically they choose Thrall since he’s in a city with the most Horde players are at any given time. This causes the Horde population, if they fall for the trick, to split up their PvP players between those waiting in Dalaran for Wintergrasp to start and those teleporting to Orgrimmar to fight off the attack on Thrall.
