Speed Run: Hellfire Ramparts Part Two

Speed Run: Hellfire Ramparts #2 It had been such a long time since my first Speed Run attempt through Hellfire Ramparts that I thought I’d take another crack at it today. My last run was in January and, needless to say, my gear has seen considerable improvement since then. I had high hopes that I could finish the entire Hellfire Ramparts instance in under 20 minutes but, as the image above shows, I ran just a bit too long.

I’ve put together a short list of “rules” that I follow when I make my own Speed Runs if you’re curious. For the record, I skin everything as I go. I’m curious what my time would be if I didn’t do that. I bet it would fall in the 18-19 minute range.

Speed Run: Hellfire Ramparts

Speed Run: Hellfire Ramparts #1 I was having a hard time finding a PUG to run any Heroics last night so I thought I’d go run solo through Hellfire Ramparts and make a little easy money instead. About halfway through I realized it might be kind of fun to time myself and post my run here on the site.

So this morning I woke up and ran it solo again, but this time I used the in-game /stopwatch to track my time. As you can see from the screenshot above, my time was 24 minutes and 22 seconds. I also came up with a small set of rules, or guidelines, I would follow for this and any future runs I make.
