Daily Quest Guide: Blue Sky Logging Grounds
To the north of the Venture Bay area of Grizzly Hills is a second PvP setting called the Blue Sky Logging Grounds. There are four daily quests here for each faction, just like Venture Bay, and the experience and gold rewards are similar as well. So you’ll stand to make just over 20,000 experience and just under 6 gold per quest. The main difference is that the Blue Sky Logging Grounds dailies do not offer any Venture Coins.
Accepting any of these quests will flag you as PvP so be on the lookout for members of the opposing faction looking to ruin your fun. I’ve found that this area is much more likely to be crawling with PvP players than Venture Bay.
The Quests
Kick ‘Em While They’re Down (Alliance) / Keep ‘Em on Their Heels (Horde)
This quest require that you kill 15 enemies of the opposing faction. As you would expect, if you’ve been in Venture Bay, both NPCs and actual players count towards this total. This quest can easily be completed while you’re in the middle of finishing the others in this area. The NPCs aren’t difficult to defeat as they only attack when provoked.
Life or Death (Alliance) / Overwhelmed! (Horde)
Scattered throughout the Blue Sky Logging Grounds are injured members of both factions. The opposing members are the ones you must kill for the quest above. The ones on your side are the NPCs you have to heal with the quest item you are given. This quest is only difficult to complete if their are opposing players ruining the supply of injured NPCs by killing them outright.
Pieces Parts (Alliance) / Making Repairs (Horde)
For this quest you must run around and pick up three items: 4 Grooved Cogs, 3 Notched Sprockets and 2 High Tension Springs. I always found the springs to be the toughest of the three to find but, again, as you’re working on completing all four of these quests you’ll manage to gather up what you need. If there are other members of your faction in the area trying to work on these quests as well you might run into a little trouble collecting all the parts though so I recommend trying to wrap this one up quickly if you’re all alone before someone else comes along.
Shredder Repair (Alliance) / Shred the Alliance (Horde)
This is my least favorite of the four Blue Sky Logging Grounds quests. The shredder moves very, very slowly but it does have a special skill that gives it a short burst of speed. Unfortunately, the cooldown is so long on this ability that by the time you’ll be ready to use it again you’ll almost be at the turn-in point to drop of the shredder anyway. This is another quest that is made even more difficult when there are opposing players in the area. While the shredder has some offense skills to fight back at players the health is so low that it’s tough to survive an attack. Try and wrap this quest up as quickly as possible just to get it out of the way.
The Rewards
Anyone questing in the Grizzly Hills, or looking for an easy way to level, should be hitting these quests up every day that they can. While the gold reward is minimal the amount of experience you can pull down for completing all four quests is quite nice considering the little amount of time you’ll have to invest. There is also reputation to be won for your main faction: the Valiance Expedition or the Warsong Offensive.
After awhile you can experience a little burnout on these quests but I strongly recommend you gut it out for as long as you can.

I’ve still to finish questing in Grizzly Hills. I’m such a slacker! Though at least I’ll know where to go when I’m done, thanks for the guide!
