Sixty Thousand And My Retirement
This morning I crossed the 60,000 gold mark thanks to some nice overnight Auction House activity. It’s been exactly two weeks since I hit 50,000 gold and once again I earned the 10,000 gold the old-fashioned way: dailies and key Auction House items.
Retiring
With this 60,000 gold landmark I’m officially retiring from the gold earning rat race. I’m at the point now where I can max out the professions on all my characters, buy enough gear for them all and buy all the mounts and pets I can want.
There just isn’t much point in continuing to save. Even though I consider gold my own personal scoreboard I feel like I’ve reached the peak of what I needed to prove to myself that I’m capable of consistently earning gold.
Moving On
Even though I’m done focusing 100% of my attention on earning gold, I’m going to still continue with the Auction House newsletter. In the next few days I’ll send out a new email with some tips on how I’m turning my love for PvP into a money making effort.
Aside from the newsletter, I’ve got some other exciting ideas in mind as I try and shift my focus from in-game gold earning to things like this blog and maybe even some PUG Checker upgrades.
