Last time I visited WG, Horde got ra**** hard by the Alliance. About 2 Alliance vs 1 Horde players. It’s 2010 now and I still don’t feel any improvements but well, maybe it’s just an imbalance on the server.

I once saw some stats about Alliance/Horde population on each and every server (as well as the quota of each class), but I can’t remember the URL.
Maybe if you have great problems in WG, your server is simply imbalanced 66% vs 33% like most servers are.

I think that perhaps, the fault, lies with you. You see, I still announce in trade that “WG starts in X mins – Queue Now!” Or make something much more appealing, to get people to come. Today I announced, “Free Wisp Form! Kill a NightElf in battle at WG, x minutes.”

Now I normally start at around 15-20 mins, and make the announcement in the trade channel every 2 mins, with a final warning around 2-3 mins. This gives me time to get quests if we are defending.

If I dont make announcements, then maybe 3-8 people show up, and we might win… on the other hand, if I do make announcements, then we can get 20-40 people even in the wee hours of the morning.

So start making those announcements, and QQ :p

I haven’t read your blog in awhile because it was blocked on my work computer for a few weeks. I was laughing today, after I blogged about my Wintergrasp Woes (as Horde severely outnumbers us and tenacity does nothing to assist) to see your post about Wintergrasp as well!

Funny that we were thinking along the same lines, but for different factions, lol.

Actually, WG has gotten better for the most part, much more even battles. The Alliance does not have 20 frickin’ stacks of tenacity anymore, which is great!

Although, part of that could be the paid faction changes.

Horde won WG last night, but just by seconds. At the end most of the Alliance didn’t collapse back to defend the final goal.
